| Visingsö borg
på Näs Ruins of ancient royal fortress: Sweden's first, created in the 12th century and destroyed in 1318. Site of bloody conflicts for the throne. |

| Erstad kärr Nature reserve on the north part of the island. The marsh is an important breeding place for wild duck, wading birds and black-headed gulls. |

| Rökinge båthus The boat house of the village of Rökinge is the best maintained on the island. Each village used to have similar berths where the common boat was kept. |
